The school moved into this building in August 1996 after replacing a branch of the Lambeth Housing Department. We soon learnt that there was quite a lot of interesting history relating to its former occupants.

In June 1998 we invited a member of the Streatham Society to help our year 6 children to begin investigations into the history of the building, the immediate area of Streatham and its former occupants.

It is hoped that this will be continued from year to year by staff, children, and maybe parents at the school.
The school is a corporate member of  "The Streatham Society"  which is a very active group of amateur and professional historians. Contact the school if you require any further information.
