The School has a computer room
incorporating various resources, all networked, and IBM PC based.
According to the syllabus, children from the nursery up are introduced to the basic use of computers in the workplace.
Standard applications of word processing, spreadsheets, data bases, desk top publishing are covered in special primary based Windows applications.
These are often integrated into other subjects according to the cross curricular requirements of the syllabus. The picture to the left shows a computer being used to log temperature measurements during a science experiments
PC's are also being currently being integrated into all aspects of classroom management and record keeping and will also be available for children to use, as appropriate, during any lesson time. Access to the Internet is available on each pc via a proxy server and is included in the syllabus as a resource.
